Description
Situated in a peaceful hamlet close to the banks of Loch Leven, the Old Coach House is at the centre of some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. Guests benefit from easy access to Glen Coe, Glen Nevis and Mamore ranges, and close proximity to the Loch Leven Seafood Café (Scottish Seafood Restaurant of the Year 2011) and Ice Factor indoor climbing centre. Walking, mountain biking, horse riding, sailing and fishing also close by. Local pub and restaurant a 7 minute walk.
The property is a 19th century stone cottage, one of a pair, built from Kentallen granite under a Ballachulish slate roof. Newly refurbished to a very high standard (4* grading), the property was formerly a coach house and servants' quarters for the Alltshellach Country House opposite, where our guests benefit from access to the heated swimming pool and jacuzzi.
Sleeps 6 (Master double, Double, Twin). Ground floor: large open plan living room, dining area and kitchen with wooden floor and feature 5m x 3m window allowing an abundance of natural light. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and large bath. Separate shower room with dual head shower and toilet. Utility room. Italian designer staircase. First floor: large master bedroom with king sized double, twin bedroom, bathroom with large bath and toilet.
